G no Reconguista's New Project is in Progress Says Tomino

Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino was invited at the Animation and Manga event "Romics" being held in Rome, Italy, on April, 8, 2017 as a special guest for a screening of "Mobile Suit Gundam Reconguista in G.
As part of fan meeting, Tomino confirms that a new project of G no Reconguista is in progress.

ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll learn from their mistakes and make something thats less confusing to watch. I personally didn't HATE G-Reco or its designs (Wuxia not included) so I think if they can do things better we might have something good on our hands. Plus we never got the Recten or Recksnow.

ReplyDeletelook the best part of g reco was the crossover where the bootleg unicorn phenex kicked some ass, I'm sorry g reco isn't gundam, it doesn't have gundams in it, and G-selfie is a turd that should never be allowed another chance to do anything
ReplyDeleteI mean bandai knows we hate it, they won't advertise g selfie kits, g selfie remakes, G-selfie sold bad, I see hobby stores all over with unsold G reco kits.
the videogames don't advertise g reco, Super robot wars skipped over it.
Maybe they are going to remake the G-Reco anime and make it more easy to follow? Perhaps this time it will be a full 50 episode series? Or maybe it'll be done through a series of OVAs?
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd see any more G-Reco after it bombed, but I'm glad, because it didn't have a single ugly suit in its cast. Give me more of those gorgeous suits!
ReplyDeleteI hope there's a clause where the higher ups are actually going to watch this show before giving it a blanket green light because Tomino. G-Reco was a narrative disaster, but if they can fix it then it's worth a revisit.
ReplyDeleteI just hope that they remake the HG g-self with better parts separation, articulation and less stickers and low price.
