After Blue Destiny Unit 1 was lost in the battle with the Efreet Custom, Blue Destiny Unit 3, originally intended as a spare mobile suit to supply parts for Units 1 and 2. With the exception of the color scheme, Unit 3 and Unit 2 are nearly identical. The EXAM System is once again limited. Although it was planned, Unit 3 would not have been painted in the same blue color scheme as Units 1 and 2. By switching out its backpack, Unit 3 can function both on Earth and in space, just like Unit 2.
