METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (SIDE MS) Strike Freedom Gundam 20th Anniversary Edition - Release Info

Tamashii Nations recently announced the release of the Strike Freedom Gundam in the Metal Robot Spirits high quality figure from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny series to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary in 2024. It will be released in November 2023 for 17,600 yen.

This figure is an improved version of the 2018 release of the same figure with improved color and finish, provided with gold seal decals.

Additionally, the figure is also provided with an upgraded display stand and supports that have been updated to the latest formats in the Metal Robot Spirits line.

The figure is completed with its accessories and equipment which include the following.

• Beam Saber x 2

During Bandai Namco Group's fiscal year presentation on May 10, it was announced that a film project for Mobile Suit Gundam Seed is scheduled to take place before the end of Bandai Namco's fiscal year in March 2024.

The film project titled Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM will come under the umbrella of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Project Ignited, which was first announced in 2021 to commemorate the franchise's 20th anniversary in 2022. It was also confirmed that the film is set as a sequel to the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny.

STRIKE FREEDOM GUNDAM

Like its predecessor, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, the Strike Freedom is a mobile suit customized to fulfill Kira Yamato's demands. It is primarily armed with potent ranged weaponry. The Strike Freedom also features Variable Phase Shift armor. Its weapons include of DRAGOON pods operated by the new Super DRAGOON system, head-mounted CIWS, an abdomen-mounted multi-phase beam cannon, hip-mounted railguns, combine-able beam sabers and beam rifles, and beam shields. It has the Neutron Jammer Canceller and the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system in addition to the revolutionary Hyper-Deuterion Engine.
