  1. Love the fact that all the Versus players now know this is the true VS game and not their soulless DLC machine on ps4. Now this game takes actual skill to play

    1. How do you even deduce that from a teaser trailer that shows absolutely zero gameplay? We don't know if it has any of the mechanical changes that GVS on the PS4 had... And besides, does one want to make that round trip to Japan to play it as if you were Celestial Being trying to make a solar furnace?

    2. First off, it's easy to tell because the graphics are way better and has the same approach going for more anime representation. Second, it's because the team doing it is the same for extreme vs instead of new team that was formed to specifically work with re used assets for versus. And yes, I would rather just stick to old school extreme instead of playing a trash game that ruins my experience with new suits

    3. Better graphics? Nah, it's just a different shaders and more focus on lighting/bloom. I'm still a sceptic.

    4. No, that's not even what I'm asking at all... I'm asking how the hell you could deduce that this game would take "actual skill to play" without gameplay footage. Does something just really not sit right with you and the gameplay mechanics of GVS to make you think that Extreme VS has something above it by bias?

Personally, while I don't think I'll ever get the chance to play this game, I would certainly love the movement options of GVS to return, like Boost Dive. Stuff like that mixed into the variety of the Extreme VS series could be interesting to see.

On that note, where was it even stated that the Extreme VS team was separate from the team that did GVS? I haven't been following the games that closely so I'm not aware whether or not VSTG Project actually split up on different projects at the time.

    5. Dude, getting this salty isn't going to make your Versus better. There's a reason Versus is not well liked and it doesn't take a genius to know it's not just because of the roster. How bout you get a clue by listening to people who actually played both games and spend a few seconds reading on why Versus is different.

    6. I don't think I can even dignify that with a response. I feel like your own biases are preventing you from answering my questions directly, and you also ask for me to listen to experienced players for their take on the situation. Perhaps you should have relayed those thoughts yourself?

In any case, I'm not "salty" as you claim to be - I'm just saying that I would rather see game footage before judgements can be made. Slapping on a title proven to work in the past doesn't automatically let the game off the hook... (Looking at you, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.)

    7. All these long winded response is just stupid. If you simply googled it, most of your questions would be answered. Of course we are all going on assumptions, but looking at the team that's making it, the graphic and roster changes are an indication, then it's looking to return to the better game or at least close to it.

  3. Danny it I was hoping for PS4 release!!! They better not turn all those new suits into currency for the current and somewhat dry feeling vs!

  4. Hopefully this gets a port instead of us getting "Crappy Versus 2" on console.

  5. How about bringing any Gundam games to Nintendo Switch?
