Bandai Spirits is bringing another fan favorite from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY into the Real Grade lineup with the announcement of the RG 1/144 Gundam Astray Blue Frame. Piloted by the legendary mercenary Gai Murakumo, the Blue Frame arrives with all-new parts, updated markings, and the signature weapon that made this mobile suit one of the most recognizable Astrays.
Built around the Real Grade line's highly detailed 1/144 engineering, the kit recreates the Gundam Astray Blue Frame with refined armor details, an impressive range of articulation, and color separation that stays true to its original design.
Leading the new additions is the Blue Frame's iconic M68 Cattus 500mm recoilless rifle. The massive weapon has been completely redesigned with new molding for the Real Grade series and measures approximately 110mm in length. It features a removable magazine, a movable foregrip for dynamic action poses, and a folding mounting joint that allows it to be stored directly on the waist when not in use.
The release also includes a newly designed set of realistic decals featuring the Blue Frame's distinctive serpent tail markings, while foil stickers add extra mechanical detail throughout the kit.
Fans will also find a newly sculpted 1/144-scale figure of Gai Murakumo, along with a full selection of interchangeable hand parts and weapons to recreate scenes from the manga. The kit includes the M68 Cattus 500mm recoilless rifle, beam rifle, beam sabers, and shield, giving builders plenty of display options.
