Japan's Ministry of Finance Staffer Arrested for Violating Japan's Copyright Law

43-year-old staff member of Ministry Finance's Kanto Finance Bureau in Tokyo arrested on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 for offending the Japan's Copyright Law on unauthorized public transmission. Police said, that the suspect has uploaded the Sunrise's Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and other videos to the FC2 video-sharing website on June 2, 2014.

"The suspect allegedly admitted to the charges, saying that he wanted to show Gundam to other people. He also reportedly uploaded about 400 titles, mainly anime.
