P-Bandai: PG 1/60 Gundam Astray Blue Frame - Review by Gundam Kits Part 1

P-Bandai: PG 1/60 Gundam Astray Blue Frame
Release Date: March 2014
Price: 18,900 Yen

So, I have been building this kit for quite a while and really enjoyed it! It is my first PG model kit after 5 years of collecting GunPla.

I believe that many of you are familiar with the PG Red Frame, and yes they both have the same molds. But this kit didn't come with the Gerbera Straight Katana, which is kinda sad but oh well...

As I said, I enjoyed building this kit because it is a new experience for me. It took me about 2 days to build this think. Love how it looks very fierce and I would like to buy the PG Red frame in the future too. The gimmicks and the articulation of this PG is rather ok compare to other ones that I've seen. It doesn't have any major open hatch gimmick which I was really looking forward to but I was kind of disappointed that it didn't do any open hatch gimmick at all except for the cockpit.

After building the kit, I feel like I am missing some pieces on the legs and arms, because the arms can be removed so easily and the back part of the legs kept opening whenever I bend the knees, but it can be fixed easily.

If you were going to ask if it came with LED light, yes it does! but it didn't come with battery which you will have to buy a separate 1 piece CR1220 battery.

Hmm what else? oh! I like that PG kits comes with bunch of pistons that make them look more like mechanical. Those adds up more details to the kit where they highlight the dark side of the kit.
