Premium Bandai celebrates the successful run of the Mobile Suit Gundam UC OVA with the release of one of the Zeon Remnants mobile suits. The Zaku Cannon joins the P-Bandai MG GunPla lineup in its Gundam Unicorn colors. 


Sharing the same molds with the 2008 regular retail released MG 1/100 Zaku Cannon, provided with moss, and mud color scheme to match its appearance during the assault of Torrington Base (Unicorn OVA).

The MS-06K Zaku Cannon is a variant of the MS-06 Zaku II manufactured by the Principality of Zeon. Its design debuted in the original Mobile Suit Variation design series and was later updated for the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn novel/OVA series.

    Unfortunately, if this re-release will be anything like the original, then the product images above are very misleading. The original MG Zaku Cannon (UC Ver.) is molded in a very pale tan color, not the dark khaki shown in the painted sample above. It still looks good, and different from the regular release Zaku Cannon (because the arms/feet are still dark green, pipes are grey, etc.), but it does not match the anime. However, the colors do resemble the colorized Unicorn manga version, which is a lighter shade of tan.
