Hobby Japan is set to release "Gundam Weapons: Mobile Suit Gundam Cucuruz Doan's Island" on September 18, 2024. This new addition to the "Gundam Weapons" series will offer an exclusive collection of detailed model examples inspired by the machines featured in the movie "Cucuruz Doan's Island".
The book focuses on the 2022 film adaptation of the classic TV episode, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island," presenting a fresh and visually captivating interpretation. It consolidates an array of model examples related to film.
Among the highlights are the "1/100 Doan's Zaku" and the "1/100 RX-78-02 Gundam," previously showcased in "Monthly Hobby Japan." In addition, the book introduces several newly built examples, including the complete set of the Southern Cross team's five Zakus in 1/144 scale, the unproduced "1/144 Core Booster," and the scaled-up "1/100 GM (Sleggar's custom)."
