On July 4th, X (formerly known as Twitter) user yoshi115t posted images revealing a noticeable malfunction in the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue. The iconic statue, known for its transformation from Unicorn mode to Destroy mode, experienced a failure in the face transformation mechanism.
During the 7pm performance, despite attempting to revert back to Unicorn mode, the statue's shoulders and front skirt remained open, causing concern among fans and spectators.

変身機能が不具合を起こしている実物大ユニコーンガンダム。先日の不具合とは様子が違い、より変身プロセスの途中で停止した状態。
少し離れた場所で顔を正面から見てみました。

Apparently, this malfunction is not the first time it has happened. Previous instances of similar issues have been reported, highlighting ongoing challenges in maintaining the complex mechanics of the statue.
In response, staff are diligently working to identify and rectify the problem. Maintenance is expected to commence soon to ensure the beloved statue is restored to its full functionality.
Yoshi115t also observed that the program poster had peeled off, adding to the peculiar situation. These unusual occurrences could be linked to the magnitude-5.1 offshore earthquake that struck south of Honshu Island, Japan, at approximately 12:12 PM on July 4.
