Bandai Namco China to Release a 3-foot Freedom Gundam Half-Body Statue

The Shanghai Gundam China Project continues to expand its collaboration with Bandai Namco to release amazing China exclusive products! This time, a half-body Freedom Gundam statue will be released to commemorate the Freedom Gundam Ver. 1:1 scale GCP standing in the LaLaport shopping complex in Shanghai.

The memorial statue measures about 100 cm or about 3.2 feet, a standing figure tall enough to be the centerpiece of your collection. A few LED lights are also installed in each section of the statue to highlight some of its parts. It is made of resin material, and will be sold for 26,800 RMB (3,700 USD), releasing on July 14th.

The Gundam Freedom Ver. GCP is the first life-size statue built outside of Japan. It was completed on May 28, 2021 in front of LaLaport mall in Shanghai. This statue commemorates the Gundam China Project, a project aimed at expanding the Gundam universe in China.
