The Gundam Astraea II can be equipped with a pair of GND Buster Sword III which can be combined to form a double-sided buster sword - just exactly like what the 00 XN Raiser uses.

Included in this expansion set is a pair of connectors for Gundam Astraea's GN capacitor, that can be attached to its left shoulder, where the buster swords can be holstered. The set also include a pair of GN rifle attachment pieces.

This set does NOT include the METAL BUILD Gundam Astraea II.

The celebration of Mobile Suit Gundam 00's 15th anniversary and its collaboration with METAL BUILD reveal more possibilities in the lineup. With the announcement of the release of GN Arms Type E in June 2023 and METAL BUILD's collaboration with the CG anime set Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Revealed Chronicle, more units have been introduced that are planned for release in the high-quality figure series.

A new Gundam called Gundam Astraea II makes its debut during the Gundam Figures Live presentation at Tamashii Nations 2022. The Gundam Astraea II features an asymmetrical design and a gray and purple color scheme. It was also announced that the new Gundam unit is compatible with the GN Arms Type E.
