The Waltraute is a mobile suit introduced in the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS MSV and was just recently revealed from the smartphone app, Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS G. 


This mobile suit uses Valkyrja Frame and features a set of bladed weapons, which include a Valkyrja Uchigatana (long blade) and Valkyrja Wakizashi (short blade) as its main equipment. Its armor is colored in black with highlights of dark purple and features sharp segmented armors on its shoulders and front skirt armors.

Named after one of the nine Valkyries in the Götterdämmerung opera composed by Richard Wagner, based on Nordic and German legends.
