Gundam Port Yokohama Celebrates Moving Gundam's event Extension with Different Port Exhibitions

The Bandai Namco Group's cross-sectional project "Gundam Project" has decided to hold "GUNDAM PORT YOKOHAMA" in the Kanagawa / Yokohama Bay area between February 19th and March 13th, 2022. The event holding period may change for each ports without prior notice.

The event commemorates the extension of the holding period of the Gundam Factory Yokohama and its moving Gundam statue to March 2023! The celebration will hold limited time events and never-before-seen attractions that going to be held in 10 different ports, starting with the life sized inflatable version of the "last shooting" featuring RX-78-2 Gundam's bust model with the floating Zeong head, which will be erected at the port #1 of the vicinity. Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

The event project will also bring back the Gundam R (Recycling) Operation exhibit featuring its hand crafted life sized RX-78-2 Gundam head that's made out of used GunPla runners that's viewable at port #2. Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

At the 3rd port of the event, features two large panels that displays special presentations, that specifically shows an animated video of the 1/1 scale RX-78F00 moving Gundam, and 1/1 scale Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC. Holding Period - March 8th to March 13th, 2022.

Gundam Port #4 will be featuring a 5-meter inflatable model of Freedom Gundam presented on top of the atrium of Grand Galleria - combined with other Gundam and GunPla related exhibits below it! Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

The 5th port will hold the Operation Gundam R - "Gundam Port Yokohama", which features the Eco-Plastic 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Assembly experience ver. Booklets and other freebies will be given away at this part of the venue, so, make you that you don't miss it! Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

Port #6 will exhibit the latest Gundam series products from different brands under Bandai Namco Group. This facility will be exhibiting latest game titles, card games, food and apparel, figures, and many more.  Holding Period - February 19th to March 6th, 2022.

The 7th port features a life size version of the White Base ship that appears in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, including the life-sized version of the White Base captain seat in the middle of the venue. This port will also exhibit a 1/144 scale of the White Base including video clips from famous scenes where the ship appeared.  Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

Port #8 is an exhibit of the new Gundam card game titled, Mobile Suit Gundam Arsenal Base. During the event the staff will also give away a free promotion card for the card game. Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

At the port #9 of the event features a 1/1 scale head of the RX-78-2 Gundam, along with 3D illusion attractions of Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island, and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans. Holding Period - February 19th to March 13th, 2022.

The last port (port 10) will feature the ROAD TO GUNPLA BATTLE and the very first live test of the scanning of a real life GunPla to realize a "Real GunPla Battle". The GunPla you bring to this venue will be scanned on a special spot to enjoy a virtual game space and battle with other GunPla. Premade sample GunPla are also available at the scanning area, so you do not have to worry bringing your own. This venue will open on March 6th to March 13th, 2022.  (* Closed on March 8th (Tue).


* Participation in this event is free, but a separate admission fee is required to enter GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA. Please check the official website of GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA for admission and business hours.
* Admission will be by lottery. As the number of participants is limited, we may refuse admission depending on the situation.
* You can only receive the plastic model once, and only one per visitor. In addition, those under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a guardian.
* Free distribution of plastic models will be on a first-come, first-served basis as the number of production will be limited.
