The series' first episode aired in Japan back in October 2011 and concluded with its 49th episode in September 2012. The series consisted of 4 arcs focused on each family members of Asuno family.Â
During its air time, GunPla models and other merchandise were released to expand the reach of Gundam franchise to a wider range of ages. Due to its great story line, the anime's popularity and aim to deliver Gundam to worldwide audience was a success!
Gundam AGE has become very popular in Japan, the story line was expanded with multiple side stories and spinoffs in which an eventual release of two game titles for PlayStation portable system was decided in 2012.
