From September 4th 2021, Gundam Base Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Gundam Base Satellite in Nagoya will be holding an exclusive exhibition that features Gundam AGE world! The event will display various GunPla, and other related items from the said series - commemorating its 10th anniversary since its anime first air in Japan in 2011.
Bandai Spirits has also announced that they will be releasing a commemorative GunPla set that features all main Gundam AGE units in each AGE generations from Asemu's Gundam AGE-1 Normal to Kio Asuno's Gundam AGE-FX in high grade 1/144 clear color versions.
The kit will be sold for 6,600 Yen (10% tax included) starting September 4, 2021 while supplies last.

Also, starting September 18th 2021, during the exhibition, Bandai Spirits also announced that it will be re-issuing the HG 1/144 Gundam AGE-2 Normal SP. Ver. AKA White Wolf version for 1,650 Yen (10% tax included).
The exhibition's closing date is yet to be determined and may end without prior notice.

Delete*Crosses fingers* Now would be the perfect time to reprint a bunch of the AGE Master Grade kits (I need the Titus!) and maybe release the AGE-3 and AGE-FX that we saw prototypes for ages ago.
ReplyDeleteI actually really liked AGE. I mean, it was far from perfect but I think people were too hard on it. The white AGE-2 Special Forces version is one of my favorite designs. I'd love it if they ever released some of those teased MG kits that never came out- or some of the kits that were CLEARLY planned (due to runner placement) but were never released- like the Genoace O Custom and Thelvia.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the Thelvia all the way, it's like the AGE equivalent of the GM Quel or one of the blue destiny Exams but with that awesome shalldol neon green, plus it wouldn't be a big kit and they could p bandai us which they always love to do
ReplyDeleteI'd totally buy a P-Bandai Thelvia. It was clearly in mind when they made the G-Bouncer. I'd also go for the Genoace O-Custom if they did it.
