  1. Upgraded joint parts? For what? This is a brick to be fair.
A really awesome brick that makes me say "take all my money now!", but a brick.

    1. Probably cause she's so heavy. If I had to take a guess.

    2. i dunno bandai have been doing large kits recently with the penelope and the xi, and judging their current track record, this could have decent articulation, it's not going to mobile fighter esque but it should be able to hold poses

  2. Bandai is really getting less shy about releasing large, more expensive high grades, huh? Guess that's unavoidable with Hathaway's Flash around the corner. And if those thrusters are molded in the correct colors I will go into debt buying this the day it comes out.

  3. Kinda wish this got rg level detail like moon and varguil. Articulation for now that I can imagine is like the resin one from b club (just have to wait for more promo pic). I guess since it is hguc it'll still based off or similar to the lineart as supposed to rg style redesign. But still wanna buy it

  4. this thing would give the Narrative Gundam, A-packs a run for its money!

  5. They got the "Casval Deikun" logo right, compared to the RE/100 which shamelessly uses Sazabi's! Looking forward for this release, finally no need to splash a lot of cash for a B-Club 1/144 Nightingale.

  7. What’s the story on the verniers in the back of the kit? They look different from one picture to the other...

    1. That's not the only difference. Nearly everything between the new and old promo images has been altered. Looks like Bandai decided to do a total re-design, which is something I think has never happened before.

  8. About time we got a 1/144 version of this MS.
AND it has functional sub-arms unlike the RE/100.
Also the Nightingale has both Magnum Dong and a Dump Truck. :P

  9. Barring the Dendrobium & Neo Zeong; this kit is now the most expensive retail HGUC ever made.
The original was the Psycho who held the title from 2004 for 14 years at 5000 yen.
That is until the Narrative A-Packs came out in 2018 at 5500 yen.
Its reign was short-lived however as the Penelope released in 2019 at 6800 yen.
Xi came close to beating out its rival but will fall short at 6000.
Now Nightingale comes along with its 7000 yen pricetag.

Bandai are getting adventurous with all these big kits they're releasing every year.
NT-A in 2018, Penelope in 2019, Baund Doc in 2020 (Priced at 5000 yen which matches the Psycho) and now this year is giving us TWO big kits with the Xi & Nightingale...
I wonder if we'll get another titan next year... Psycho Mk 2 please!

  10. Finally Ballistic Zaku is complete (only die hard builders would understand... Wink wink)

  11. That box art is pretty damn cool.
What confuses me though is that MS slicing up the Jegan. Is it a Jagd Doga?

    1. It's the Psycho Doga (Beltorchika's Children version of the Jagd Doga).

The box art also doubles down on the RG art style of the Hi-Nu Gundam - would've preferred if they use the 2007 official setting as found also in the Beltorchika's Children manga.

    2. I'd really like seeing an hguc psycho doga, there's no way I'm getting the robot damashii

  12. What is the suit in the background that severed the Jegan? It has a somewhat Sazabi like head.

  13. Answered my own question, it is MSN-03-2 Psycho Doga.

  14. Disappointing big pieces of plastic. Size 1/144 is fine, but complexity only HG is absolutely disappointing. If not RG, at least make it full mechanic grade. HG at this size without MG or RG detail is just a really big FG trash.
