The Tokyo Olympics 2020 will be collaborating with Gundam's 40th anniversary to release four different GunPla exclusive to the event. The kits will be sold starting June 2020 for limited time only.
The RX-78-2 Gundam's model will be based on the HGUC REVIVE version of the kit, and will be molded in blue, white, and gray parts with matching "TOKYO 2020 OLYMPIC" emblem decals for the exclusive collaboration. The kit also comes with special Tokyo 2020 platform base for display purposes.
A Haropla HARO in matching Tokyo 2020 Olympic colors will be sold separately as well.
