Iron-Blooded Orphans HG Kits Will Get Reissued in April 2020

The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans High Grade model kits will be getting reissued and will be available on retail stores starting April 2020.

The reissue will include HG models from both seasons one and two, though the HG Hashmal may not be returning just yet. Though Bandai Spirits will be reissuing lots of older models in commemoration of GunPla's 40th anniversary this year.

The Iron-Blooded Orphans was first aired in Japan in 2015 and is now celebrating its 5th anniversary! HG 1/144 Gundam Marchosias was also announced to be released this year, in March, for 2,420  Yen (10% tax included).

  5. Why are they reissuing the HGs now? is it some kind of an anniversary> Does this mean the P-Bandai stuff is getting a reissue?

    1. Seconded! I understand the lack of appeal for the Geirail, but I have 3 Scharfrichters and no standard Galan Mossa version to lead them! The kit is ridiculously scarce.

Shidens are army-builders, but the production numbers were terrible since Bandai put all the effort into making the P-Bandai variants instead...

Are the same to Revive or (R) in Gundam Seed kits?

(Astray M1 is "R" and a new model)

  8. Can have some new kits Bandai? Maybe finally a Spinner Rodi, Hloekk Graze or a Gilda? Got a lot of MS from orignal, Gekko, and Urdr that can be made into kits still. Got the frames, mine as well put them to good use. Even if they are P-Bandai, guess thats kind of alright.

    1. If they want to push the mobile game I think we will get a Spinner Rodi and Hloekk Graze kit. Not sure about Gilda, but the former two show up in the teasers, and have some of their parts already made in other kits.

    2. Got the Hexa frame so, they've only used it for the Dawn Horizon Hugos. Maybe a few more option sets with a Labry head unit, the mobile workers from the colony uprising and the new Tekkadan MWs from the end of the first season? Would even be happy with straight grey armor parts and additional frame parts to build our own Hloekk Graze or Gildas or what have you. So much good stuff in terms of non gundam types.
