HGBD:R 1/144 Gundam GP-Rase-Two Ten - Release Info, Box art and Official Images

HGBD:R 1/144 Gundam GP-Rase-Two Ten
Release Date: April 2020
Price: 3,080 Yen

This custom Gundam was first seen in the Gundam Build Divers series and is now making a return in the Re-rise GunPla series in April 2020 as the Gundam GP-Rase-Two Ten. Newly molded parts and equipment are provided to the kit to represent the design from the original GBD anime series. It also comes with the parts for the original Gundam GP-Rase-Two for conversion purposes.

The kit shares some of its molds with the HGUC RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" with lots of updated design and extended parts. One of its many cool features includes the sub-arm unit hidden in its shoulder binders. The sub-arm units can be equipped with the GN Ogre Swords that can also be holstered on its back when not in use.

  2. Be interesting to see if it uses the now 14 year old HG or if it will have new runners indicating a future revive version

  3. Well.

    Took em long enough.

The sculpting looks amazing but I don't imagine the actual articulation and stuff is any good if it's just a retool of the original HG GP02

  4. Finally!
Glad he's actually getting a kit after all.
Chances are he'll just be a remold of the old-ish HGUC kit. :/
    But at least he exists.
I guess Bandai wanted to fill the gap, release-wise, between Re:Rise parts 1 & 2.

  5. hopefully it was started from scratch, and like the Justice Knight, will lead to a Gp02 Revive

  6. The details look good. I might get this.

  7. YES! Though I'm a lil bit worried that this is a rehash of the old HG judging by that elbow bend in the last photo being less than 90 degress, either a creative choice for the pose or a limitation from the old mould

  8. isn't it funny that ogre just change from a gn-x to physalis just after few episode of GBD and yet stick with physalis for couple of years (in anime time) with minimal upgrade from GBD

  9. man this looks really good, those knees are totally going to be stickers but thats livable. Im also really hoping they took the same approach to this as they did with the justice knight, the HGUC is pretty bad by today's standards. but i guess ill find out when i build it

  10. Oh boy, looks like the elbow joints can't even do a 90 degree bend.

  12. It's gonna be a big fat bummer if Bandai didn't make any upgrades from the old mold. At least give this guy a thigh swivel, please Bandai...

  13. Took me long enough to realise the differences between the Rase-Two and the Rase-Two-Ten: It's the claws on the binders. The ones on Rase-Two-Ten are capable of holding the swords while the main arms can hold the bazooka-looking things (or giant club).

    1. the claws are not new, he used it in the fight with 00 Sky. the new additions are the gn bazooka's on the shoulders.

    1. Makes sense. It's a common practice with GN Drive Taus to meet high power output demand.
