GunPla 40th anniversary has surprised us with another wonderful collaboration! Bandai Spirits will be releasing the RX-78-2 Gundam in black, red, and white color scheme to celebrate their collaboration with the J.League in 2020.
The kit will be sold at the "FUJI XEROX SUPER CUP 2020" at the Saitama Stadium 2002 starting February 8, 2020. The kit will also be available through J-League online store from early March 2020. Further announcements about the GunPla availability will be available once they started the pre-orders.
This GunPla also comes with a special display base and special J.League decal seals to commemorate the collaboration.
(It is scheduled to be released at J League clubs and sports goods shops in Japan nationwide)

That's why they are "bland white", because they couldn't.
