The collaboration between two Japanese iconic character's anniversary brings both in one model kit. This is to celebrate Gundam's 40th and Hello Kitty's 45th anniversary.



--------January 2020 update---------

The collaborative project continues by releasing more images of the Gundam x Hello Kitty prototype in public, and the combination between the two main characters from different franchises worked really well! Bandai Spirits uses an SD EX-Standard molds for the RX-78-2 Gundam, and added an entirely new molded parts for the Hello Kitty parts.

You can either display the kit side by side as Hello Kitty and RX-78-2 Gundam, or combine the two kits together with special conversion parts as one cute RX-78-HK Hello Kitty Gundam.

The kit will be sold worldwide for a limited time through retail / hobby stores, online shop, and of course through Sanrio shops. Please check your local hobby stores and retailers for more stock info. (stock availability may differ for each region).

  3. SDEX? Really? Why settle for a dead SD line where theres a perfectly good and kicking SDCS? Doesnt really make much sense even on a business standpoint

  4. They're probably just we're developing this before they killed the SD EX Standard kits and instead of having to build a whole entire new kid around the new cross silhouette line they just went with what they had
