HGBD:R 1/144 Nu-Zeon Gundam
Release Date: November 2019
Price: 3,100 Yen
Captain Zeon's custom made GunPla from the Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise series debuts its first GunPla. This GunPla shares the same mold with the HGUC 1/144 RX-93 nu Gundam that was released in 2008, with some added details and parts to represent the customized design.
It is equipped with 4 cape-thrusters on its back and can also be used as funnels just like the nu Gundam. It also has a huge sword called "Zeonic Sword" that is designed after the Neo Zeon emblem! The giant sword is also the customized version of the Gundam Astray's Tactical Arm weapon that can also be deployed to be used as a bow gun as well as a beam sword.

ReplyDeleteWhat the Yuck? i dont like any of these new designs >.>
ReplyDeleteHeh... must be one of those UC Slaves. That can only Came after seeing Char's Counterattack for the 37th times.
DeleteHeh... UC Slaves.
DeleteIronically, this reminds me a lot of the Zeo Megazord from Power Rangers Zeo
ReplyDeleteUhmmm... no.
ReplyDeleteSloppy mash-up targeting children audience.
ReplyDelete- RX-93 head with X-bone gundam forehead
- GP-02 chest
- Kampfer or Zaku II waist cord
- RX-93 shoulder with GP-04 shoulder design
- RX-93 waist and legs with Sinaju leg booster
- funnel system stylized after Zabanya
This is heresy!!
ReplyDeleteThe HG Nu Gundam desperately needs a Revive. I'm so tired of subpar articulation in UC 90s kits. The sword looks cool though.
ReplyDeleteUm,no.. It is not as bad as HG Tristan. Heck all CCA HG kits that were released in 2008 are good made kit.
DeleteAny kit made after 2004 that uses single jointed elbows and double jointed knees that only give a total bend of 90 degrees are poorly made. We have better ways to design articulation for kits. I want a HG Nu Gundam Revive.
DeletePoor articulation isn't only excuse to make Revive kit. The HGUC Nu has good anime proportion, gunmetal color on frame instead of grey, and fully separated funnels. Even seam line are properly hidden as panel line design. The head is in one piece and rarely used on mostly HG kits.
DeleteThe HG can survive by today standard. This is why I think the HGUC Ground Type Revive or MG F91 2.0 is unnecessary as the old is not that bad.

ReplyDeleteHow dare you!
ReplyDeleteDoes this kit just straight up reuse a runner from the Astray Blue Frame Second L? The sword has the same handle and articulation points. This kit even has the Blue Frame Second L's daggers.
ReplyDeleteIf you're interested in the sword only, it sold separately as an build custom kits, but the color is green.
DeleteGundam ugly
ReplyDeleteLooks good on 2d/boxart, not translated well in model.
ReplyDeleteNow can his binders fold around him like they did after he demolished the Ga-Z gang?
