HGBD:R 1/144 Nu-Zeon Gundam
Release Date: November 2019
Price: 3,100 Yen

Captain Zeon's custom made GunPla from the Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise series debuts its first GunPla. This GunPla shares the same mold with the HGUC 1/144 RX-93 nu Gundam that was released in 2008, with some added details and parts to represent the customized design.

It is equipped with 4 cape-thrusters on its back and can also be used as funnels just like the nu Gundam. It also has a huge sword called "Zeonic Sword" that is designed after the Neo Zeon emblem! The giant sword is also the customized version of the Gundam Astray's Tactical Arm weapon that can also be deployed to be used as a bow gun as well as a beam sword.

  5. The HG Nu Gundam desperately needs a Revive. I'm so tired of subpar articulation in UC 90s kits. The sword looks cool though.

    1. Um,no.. It is not as bad as HG Tristan. Heck all CCA HG kits that were released in 2008 are good made kit.

    2. Any kit made after 2004 that uses single jointed elbows and double jointed knees that only give a total bend of 90 degrees are poorly made. We have better ways to design articulation for kits. I want a HG Nu Gundam Revive.

    3. Poor articulation isn't only excuse to make Revive kit. The HGUC Nu has good anime proportion, gunmetal color on frame instead of grey, and fully separated funnels. Even seam line are properly hidden as panel line design. The head is in one piece and rarely used on mostly HG kits.

The HG can survive by today standard. This is why I think the HGUC Ground Type Revive or MG F91 2.0 is unnecessary as the old is not that bad.

  6. Does this kit just straight up reuse a runner from the Astray Blue Frame Second L? The sword has the same handle and articulation points. This kit even has the Blue Frame Second L's daggers.

    1. If you're interested in the sword only, it sold separately as an build custom kits, but the color is green.
