In commemoration of "Syd Mead exhibition PROGRESSIONS TYO 2019" event! Bandai Spirits has collaborated with the exhibition to release limited edition MG 1/100 Turn A Gundam and Turn X in a set for 12,420 Yen as a memorial item for the collaboration.
The kits are molded in metallic gloss and will be provided with unique "Nanoskin image" decal seals.

The exhibit will also be featured as a "Satellite Stage" in the Gundam Base Tokyo - Gundam Base Builders Zone from April 29, 2019 to late May 2019.
As part of the event, the limited edition kit will be available for purchase on May 8, 2019, and is planned to be sold at the Premium Bandai store after the exhibition.

Syd Mead is a famous industrial designer and visual futurist who was behind the designs in large companies like Ford! "He also worked in some known Hollywood movies like Star Trek, Mission Impossible 3, and Alien 2." And of course, he was the man behind the design of the CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X, and draft of the SYSTEM ∀-99 ∀ Gundam [Turn A Gundam].
