Premium Bandai has finally revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ version of the Dwadge, which will join the Master Grade line in April 2019 as its debut release.
The molds and joints of the MG 1/100 Dom have been altered to accommodate Dwadge's design. With enhanced articulation and new molds for its joint pieces, this will undoubtedly look nice in your collection!
Head
- Dom's head design has been remolded to produce Dwadge's head vulcans.
Body
- Power pipes on its shoulder connecting from its chest to the backpack were added to the molds!
Backpack
- The completely new backpack mold is undoubtedly detailed and fitted with joints for storing some of Dwadge's weapons.
Rear Skirt Armor
- Dwadge would not be complete without its rear skirt vents, which have been completely remolded from the MG Dom.
Legs
- The legs were also altered to fit the drop tanks on it.
Equipment
- Added details to the Giant Bazooka's barrel.
- A double edged heat tomahawk is also a new sight for this kit!
- A remolded heat saber's hilt for a better stability.
I mean the cloth effect molding on the bazooka looks cool.
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteLooks like my prediction of it being an HGUC was off. Looks pretty nice. I'll probably never see one in person.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely gobsmacked Bandai is not making the Unicorn version.
ReplyDeleteI am sure one will come eventually. I am going to hold off on this one since I prefer the Unicorn color scheme.
DeleteI want it, but I want the Unicorn colors! I don't know what to do! The yellow pretty much just needs to be changed to tan, which is easy enough, I guess. I have an extra 120 mm machine gun to give it.
ReplyDeleteMeh, I decided to order it. I will just paint all of the yellow a medium tan. Minimal amount of conversion required. And if they release a Unicorn version, I will probably get that one too and repaint the ZZ one completely.
DeleteMan, P-Bandai are seriously stepping up their game! Maybe this'll be my first P-Bandai kit... unfortunate really
ReplyDeleteMy most anticipated release of all time!- said no one ever.
ReplyDeleteAnother MG that's a P Bandai. This is like an 90% New kit, basically a 1.5 veraion.
ReplyDeleteSurprised they didn't just label it Unicorn, don't know how much different the UC is to the ZZ ver.
ReplyDeleteAll the yellow would be dark tan. Possibly a different backpack. It has a zaku machine gun instead of a bazooka.
DeleteWait, it's a Master Grade!!?
ReplyDeleteGod-damnit! I wanted an HGUC!
Ah well P-Bandai MGs tend to be stupid pricey on the aftermarket anyway.
Hey so when did we start calling this guy "Dwadge" instead of "Dowadge" and why isn't the Pezun Dowadge listed as the "Pezun Dwadge" on most reputable mecha sites? I know there isn't a clear lineage between the two, but they've always shared the name (until they didn't, I guess.)
ReplyDeleteThe kana is the same for both.
