Gundam Info had recently made a poll about what do fans want to see next in MG Ver. Ka line after the release of MG 1/100 ZZ Gundam Ver. Ka.
After removing all invalid votes from the last poll, G-Self got the first place, and Bandai might do the same thing like what they did to the ZZ Gundam from last year's survey!

ReplyDeleteAs much as I despise the Reconguista G, just give the G-self a shot. There really is not point in making a barbatos lupus rex ver. ka. Like what could be improve from the Full Mechanics?

better overall articulation, structural rigidity, basically everything you'd get in a Master Grade that a 1/100 sized HG-style build just could not, like those 1/100 kits for 00 that were done long before the MGs of the Dynames, Kyrios, Virtue etc etc
The MG Barbatos takes everything the 1/100 Barbatos gave us and triples down on that, even before taking into account that P-Bandai expansion set they released a while later. More accessories, more hand options, more surface and frame detail, better color separation, better integration of the gimmicks like the backpack sub-arms

ReplyDeleteI hated G-no-Reco, but it's good to see an MG come out for the series. Hopefully it isn't plagued with stickers.
ReplyDeleteI just hope we get the others as MG Ver. Ka figures somwhere down the line. I'm still waiting for an MG AGE-FX and a proper MG IBO kit.

The reason why is it's and old a Hell kit and the Effect parts would be Crazy!!

ReplyDeleteI would live to see ver ka Freedom Gundam. While the 2.0 is an amazing build and looks great, they could have made him more detailed by adding some more panel lines and water slides.
