I wanna thank Gundam Model Central for sending me a sample of this DM 1/100 Destiny Gundam. Well, it's not comparable to Bandai's Metal Build but it surely is a good addition to my shelf as a plastic kit. The plastic is great, but there are some pegs that won't fit [what do we expect?] so I had to reduce some of it just to make them fit together. Shoulder inner armor has big huge ugly seamline, but with some putty it will be fixed.
Color separation is also wonderful! The colors of the mold has some a little bit of shine to it, but I have decided to top coat it and paint the red parts to make it more shiny.
I also like the decals on this kit. Decals are quite durable and easy to apply!
I like that it came with a launcher action base that adds up some dynamic feel when displayed. The kit also came with variety of beam effects for Arondight and Beam Boomerangs. And don't forget the prismatic wings of light.
