The executive producer of the 6 vs 6 Gundam first-person shooter Gundam Evolution issued a statement on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 that the game will seize operation effective November 29th, 2023.
This is sad news for all fans of the game, although the production team will continue to work hard to provide a great experience for its players until the service is retired.
The full roadmap to the end of GUNDAM EVOLUTION's service will be discussed in the mission's final briefing, scheduled to stream at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21 (PDT) via the official Gundam Evolution YouTube channel.
The developers wanted to create a title that brings FPS and Gundam fans together. They have challenged themselves o create an authentic Gundam FPS game that could be played globally, and on multiple platforms.
Unfortunately, we have determined that it is no longer possible for us to provide a service that satisfies our players.
Additionally, the production team would like to express their gratitude to everyone who has played and supported the game. Even though that the game will be coming to an end, updates and the launch of the 6th season will still be on place, which will add two units and two maps on August 23rd, and the final season adding a new units and a map will still roll out on October 25th.
We will do our best to ensure that our players can enjoy GUNDAM EVOLUTION to the fullest till the very end.
On July 26th, 2023 6:00 PM (PDT), sales of the in-game transactions such as EVO coins, EC Pods, CAP Pods, and Ticket Pods will be seized. Players will still be able to use their coins will still be usable until the end of the service.
After terminating the sales of EVO Coins, we will create more opportunities for players to earn Capital Points through login bonuses, events, and campaigns, so they will have the chance to unlock and enjoy the new units.We will not be adding new items that can only be purchased with EVO Coins. (Items available currently will remain)
