I really don't get Bandai... why can't they make these as HG with "real" proportions. Or better yet, design SD's parts to they can be incorporated into the HG line easily. There would be so many nice kit bashes, sell much more plastics too.
It's probably because the majority of SD Gundam originals weren't ever supposed to be designed in a way that invoked a full-scale mobile suit; it probably would be too elaborate otherwise, and largely unnecessary. There's very few exceptions to the rule, and probably only because they were some of the classic examples: Knight Gundam, (Shin) Musha Gundam and Mk-II, and of course, the Real Modes of Tekki Musha Haganemaru, Star Winning Gundam and RX-Zeromaru.
Lu Bu Sinanju
ReplyDeleteJust go by the Sangokuden name for the character.
ReplyDeleteRyofu Sinanju.
Ok noticed the official site went with the hanyu pinyin chinese names this time.
ReplyDeleteSo Lu Bu Sinanju it should be.

DeleteWhat! Sinanju with 2 eyes! What with this heresy? I liked it tho.
ReplyDeleteA Monoeye mask hiding the original Gundam-type head; I'd say it's pretty clever because of the Sinanju Stein, which is basically exactly that.
DeleteDAMN! LOOK AT THAT NIGHTINGALE!
