Dynames, Sinanju stein Nar, Age II magnum, Ex-S 1.5 and this, heaven for MG lovers, thx bandai.... :D
ReplyDeleteLooks good. I don't have the original Alex. I am glad I held out.
ReplyDeleteThank god this is an MG 2.0 and not any other grade! I'm so glad I waited on getting an MG Alex!
ReplyDeleteOH BABY
ReplyDeleteBlimey! Absolutely phenomenal! Is the armour a P-Bandai?
ReplyDeleteNope! Armor comes with the kit, that's why it's over 6000 yen lol
DeleteDoubt it.
DeleteThe armor is an integral gimmick of the Alex and excluding it would be dumb.
I've been waiting for this for so damn long. I can see myself buying multiples of these. The Alex is one of my favorite Gundams, and 0080 is one of my favorite series.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't live up to the standard Bandai
ReplyDeleteDat Chobham armor tho....
ReplyDeleteGuys....just think about it...if they are making this in MG form......we could very well get a Pbandai release of the Tristan!!!
ReplyDeleteAn MG Tristan ... now THAT I would gladly pay P-Bandai for.
DeleteI was so disappointed when I got the HG Alex soon after I started the hobby, NT-1 was a old favorite of mine and that kit was pretty bad compared to the newer kits I'd gotten before it. I've never moved it since putting it up because the front skirt plate is held on by hopes and dreams.
ReplyDeleteI'll be preordering this guy to finally make a good Alex.
Omg that detail looks so good!
ReplyDeleteDude that chobham armor...omg I'm smiling so big right now. My wife was like, "you don't even smile like that for me anymore"
ReplyDeleteWell that totally isn't concerning
DeleteAnd I smell a mg Tristan in our future. Or at the very least some over priced, knock off conversion kit.
ReplyDeleteThis just made my day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm getting another Alex this year. Which is okay, because my original MG Alex was put together when I was still crap at building kits so I'll be able to put this together much more decently. haha
ReplyDeleteKinda dissapointed with lacking of surface details.
ReplyDeleteDamn I'm so happy! Alex finally getting some proper justice, wanted an mg of this but heard the original was bad so held out
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for this release so I can display the new 2.0 Alex "naked" and display my old 1.0 Alex armored. Thanks Bandai, except for the rather expensive price.
ReplyDeleteThat said. The old MG is not bad. And it's hella cheaper too. I mean, you don't see Alex doing super-dynamic poses in the show either, so the 1.0 MG is just fine especially if you're not averse to painting the details. The rubber shoulder frame-casing has its charm too.
man~
ReplyDeletenever thought it price almost same with Full Armor Gundam (GT)
Well, this includes the armor parts for making the FA Alex, so... ;-)
DeleteHopefully kampfer will get the same treatment
ReplyDeleteA shame that we don't get an HGUC revive of the Alex. That kit is really out of date.
ReplyDeleteI would get this even thou I have the original Alex gundam.
ReplyDelete1/60 PG Alex when?
Long shot but maybe this means we'll get an MG Tristan?
ReplyDeleteI just rewatched Twilight Axis after listening to its soundtrack so the series was on my mind.
TA needs a proper adaptation just like F91 does.
