Bandai Spirits brings a fresh artistic twist to Gundam SEED's Strike Gundam with the ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam [Ukiyo-e Package Ver.], scheduled for release in August 2026. Priced at 1,430 yen (tax included), this special edition kit pairs the beginner-friendly ENTRY GRADE build featuring ukiyo-e inspired presentation that celebrates traditional Japanese art.

Based on the easy-to-build ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam, this limited version features brand-new ukiyo-e style packaging along with Japanese-patterned stickers that add a distinctive flair to the finished model. The kit maintains the line’s signature accessibility, with excellent color separation achieved through smart part division, meaning builders can recreate the mobile suit’s iconic look straight out of the box without painting.

Designed with newcomers and casual builders in mind, the model uses touch-gate technology, allowing parts to be removed by hand without the need for nippers. The runners are also organized by section, making assembly smooth and easy to follow. Despite its beginner-friendly design, the kit still delivers impressive articulation in the torso, arms, and legs, enabling dynamic action poses once completed.

The Strike Gundam comes equipped with its beam rifle and shield, while subtle details like the camera eye’s black outline are recreated through clever part spacing and shadow effects, giving the head unit added depth.

Accessories included:
  • Beam Rifle ×1
  • Shield ×1
  • Sticker Sheet ×1
Ukiyo-e is a traditional Japanese art style that flourished during the Edo period, known for its striking woodblock prints and paintings depicting landscapes, cultural icons, and scenes from everyday life. Characterized by bold outlines, flat colors, and dramatic composition, Ukiyo-e became one of Japan’s most recognizable artistic traditions and influenced artists around the world. Today, the timeless aesthetic of Ukiyo-e continues to inspire modern designs, blending classical Japanese artistry with contemporary subjects.
