Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Valentine’s Event Launches January 24

The world of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is getting a Valentine’s Day makeover as its 30th anniversary celebration arrives at Gundam Base locations across Japan starting Saturday, January 24, 2026. For a limited time, fans can step into a special Wing themed Valentine’s event filled with exclusive visuals, collectible merch, and community experiences that only happen once every 30 years.

This special campaign will be held at Gundam Base Tokyo, Gundam Base Fukuoka, Gundam Base Annex New Chitose Airport, and GUNDAM SIDE-F, each location offering its own unique displays and limited-run items that celebrate Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, and Wufei.

The star of the event is the Gundam Wing Print Chocolate series, featuring character artwork printed directly onto Valentine-style chocolates. Each piece is randomly packed for surprise variation. Pair them with the character sticker set, and if you collect five chocolates plus one sticker set, you will receive a limited edition Printed Chocolate Display Box that turns your haul into a Wing-themed showcase.

To complete the Valentine vibe, Bandai is also releasing foil-finished acrylic stands, character can badges, and exclusive Wing-only Valentine designs that will not be sold outside this campaign.

Three locations, Gundam Base Tokyo, Fukuoka, and GUNDAM SIDE-F, will feature large character panels of the Gundam Wing cast along with a limited community space where fans can hang out, take photos, and connect with other Wing supporters. This special fan area is only available on January 24 and 25, making opening weekend the perfect time to visit.

Meanwhile, Gundam Base Annex New Chitose Airport will display a giant Gundam Wing visual wall, turning the store into a full-scale anniversary landmark that you do not want to miss.
