To celebrate the exhibition of the Gundam snow sculpture at the 2025 Sapporo Snow Festival, which takes place in Sapporo, Hokkaido, from February 4th to February 11th, a stunning new visual has been unveiled. This promotional artwork highlights the three main characters from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- alongside the snow sculptures of the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam and the new mobile suit, GQuuuuuuX in the background.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Gundam series will be featured at the Sapporo Snow Festival. In honor of the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, this year’s exhibition will showcase "GQuuuuuuX" from the hit Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- and the classic "RX-78-2 Gundam" from Mobile Suit Gundam as medium-sized snow sculptures. These sculptures have been enlarged compared to last year’s, making them a striking centerpiece of the event.
Adding to the festivities, a fully wrapped container will serve as a merchandise booth at the venue. Visitors can shop for exclusive collaborative products with local Hokkaido companies, including items like “Yoitomake.” As a bonus, shoppers will receive one P Fever Mobile Suit Gundam SEED LT-Light ver. bath additive per transaction. Additionally, for every 4,000 yen spent, customers will receive an illustration card featuring the newly drawn promotional visual.
