Bandai Namco China Unveils Stunning Snake Gundam to Celebrate 2025 Year of the Snake

Bandai Namco China has officially unveiled the Snake Gundam, a new addition to its "Zodiac Gundam" series, in celebration of the 2025 Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. 

Renowned mechanical designer Mr. Kunio Okawara, known for his iconic work in the Gundam series, has personally designed the "Snake" Gundam. His design masterfully combines the traditional Gundam aesthetic with the serpentine elements of the Chinese zodiac sign, the snake.

This reveal also expands on the existing line of the "Zodiac Gundam" series, which features 12 mini-sized SD (Super Deformed) figures, each representing a different zodiac animal. For 2025, the Snake Gundam will feature movable parts and come with a display stand. In addition to its mechanical sophistication, each zodiac Gundam figure is adorned with a unique "national style" color variant, adding an artistic flair to the collection.

Beyond the figures themselves, Bandai Namco is offering a range of exciting merchandise. Lower-tier prizes include luminous table mats, glowing acrylic keychains, towel metal refrigerator magnets, and other practical merchandise. The grand prize, however, is the most coveted—a special painted version of the Snake Gundam, a stunning collector's piece that fans are eager to get their hands on.
