Bandai Namco Holdings has announced that a life-size Gundam statue will be a key exhibit at the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" during the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Kansai. This will be the first time a life-size Gundam is displayed in the Kansai area, utilizing materials from the moving Gundam previously showcased at "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" from December 2020 to March 2024.

The new statue, standing approximately 17 meters tall, will feature a dynamic pose with one knee raised and arms extended upwards, symbolizing humanity's aspiration toward the universe and the future. Unlike its Yokohama predecessor, this Gundam will not have moving parts.

In addition to the statue, Bandai Namco has released teaser visuals and a promotional video for the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION." The pavilion will also include a 1/100-scale diorama and new exterior design images. The building's design evokes a "future space airport," reflecting a world where humans have expanded into space. The pavilion, slated for completion in July, will offer an immersive experience into the Gundam universe, with more interior details to be revealed later.

Recruitment for staff members to help create and operate the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" experience begins today, June 26th. Responsibilities will include guiding visitors, managing pavilion operations, and more. Interested individuals can find more information on the official "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" website.
