Ready Player One's Win Morisaki plays Griffin Albalest in Gundam SEED Freedom

Win Morisaki, an artist and actor, has been cast as the new character "Griffin Albalest" in the next film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," which will be released in Japan on January 26, 2024.

Win Morisaki is also well recognized for his part as Toshiro Yoshiaki (Daito) in the 2018 film Ready Player One, where his line "I'm going with Gundam!" sparked excitement among Gundam enthusiasts!

Griffin Arbalest

Is a member of the Black Knight Squad of the Foundation's Queen's Guard. He appears to have a reckless personality at first glance, but his abilities are exceptional.

Aura Maha Khyber is the current Queen of the "Foundation" nation, which broke away from the Eurasian Federation.

The "Black Knight Squad," Queen Aura's personal security, is made up of Orphee Lam Tao and seven other members.

In addition, Mr. Morisaki's message video has been uploaded on the official TikTok of the Gundam SEED series and YouTube Gundam Channel's Short section, and text introducing characters and mobile suits has emerged on the official website of SEED FREEDOM.

GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM SYNOPSIS

The fight was still going on in CE75.

An independence movement, a Blue Cosmos invasion... To calm the situation, the world peace monitoring organization Compass is founded, with Lacus as its first president, and Kira and his friends serving as members, intervening in wars all across the world.

The Emerging Countries Foundation suggests a cooperative operation to the Blue Cosmos headquarters at the moment.

The Gundam SEED franchise, which debuted in Japan in 2013, celebrates its 20th anniversary with this release. Mechanical designs by Kunio Okawara, Junichi Akutsu, Kazutaka Miyatake, Shiba Zen, Takuya Io, Manabu Shintani, and Hiroyuki Taiga will appear in the film.

This film is a part of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Project, which was announced in 2021 to mark the title's 20th anniversary.
