On November 28, 2023, the Gundam Fan e-Festival has announced the release of its third batch of GunPla drops. The High Grade 1/144 Gundam Mk-II (TITANS) in this batch is set to join the 21st Century Real Type Ver. GunPla lineup and will first be available through Premium Bandai USA limited. The kit is recolored to depict a 21st Century Real style color version. Its main armor pieces are color in a rather darker blue along with silver-ish highlights for its joints and accessories. Decals that represents the 21st Century specification is also included. It is based on the same molds as the HGUC 1/144 RX-178 Gundam Mk-II (revive) that was published in 2015.

RX-78 Gundam Mk-II

The Gundam Mk-II, a direct successor of the Titans' RX-78-2 Gundam, is the first mobile suit to make use of the new moveable frame concept. This revolutionary concept's movable frame does more than just provide structural support; it houses all of the mobile suit's essential mechanisms, such as the actuators and control systems needed for movement. The mobile suit's armor, propellant tanks, and weaponry are left out. This method makes the mobile suit far more nimble than conventional designs and significantly increases its responsiveness, dependability, and energy economy.

  1. I'm actually a big fan of the real colors, I like getting away from traditional Gundam color schemes, but this one is... pretty lazy! Even the decals look like they could have been recycled from generic designs. This is pretty sad because I loved the other Mk-II design.
