GunPla Blog 10: Let's Complete Those Gundam Wing GunPla Collection

The Mobile Suit Gundam Wing recently celebrated its 28th anniversary, and what we Wing Gundam fans think is that Bandai Spirits will continue to expand the series on its way to its 30th anniversary in 2025.

Its GunPla line has expanded over the years due to its popularity not only in Japan but also in western regions as it was the anime series that introduced Gundam to North America for the first time in the year 2000s. We can't wait to see more growth in the GunPla aspect of the title.

Since Bandai Spirits have already released all the 5 main mobile suits in their HGAC 1/144 GunPla series, and Premium Bandai just waiting to announce the upgraded version of the Shenlong Gundam, the Altron Gundam, we're excited to see if they'd revive the Endless Waltz versions of the series as well. Not to mention the ever forgotten Real Grade concept lineup.

Adding to the lineup are the HGAC 1/144 Leo units, with their variants exclusively released via Premium Bandai, including the red LEO-S from the G-Unit side story. And also the series of Maganac model kits which were also released via Premium Bandai with their variation counterparts including the massive 36-set Maganac army.

Recently, Bandai Spirits and Premium Bandai have announced a series of GunPla models from the G-UNIT Re:OPERATION manga series, which releases the revived version of the G-Unit mobile suits in the HGAC GunPla lineup, starting with the Gundam Geminass up to now recently announced Mercurius and Vayeate Suivant set which is a set remolded from the Mercurius and Vayeate counterpart set.

The G-Unit project also has a special page via Bandai Hobby's official website, dedicated to the project's growth. The site has been constantly updated with the genealogy of the side story series as they announced new GunPla for the title.

The 5 main Gundam units of the side story is still waiting for the Hydra Gundam, and Gundam Griepe via Premium Bandai project - we should be able to see more about these releases soon enough! Hopefully...

Moving on, while the HG series focuses more in the TV version, and G-Unit, the Master Grade GunPla series have been focusing on the Endless Waltz Glory of the Losers version of the 5 main mobile suits, which also features their extended version via Premium Bandai. Premium Bandai also released and completed the Endless Waltz OVA version of the series, with 90% of the molds sharing with their regular MG EW GOTL counterparts.

And of course, the Tallgeese trio were also released in the Master Grade series, starting with the Tallgeese I EW featuring its white and yellow color scheme for regular retail released, followed by the Tallgeese II and III as Premium Bandai exclusive.
