MGSD Officially Confirmed by Bandai Hobby

Bandai Hobby Site has officially confirmed a new GunPla grade under the name MGSD (Master Grade SD), which will be fully unveiled on September 29th, 2022 through the Hobby Next Phase Autumn 2022 online exhibit.


The logo was apparently registered and was also leaked during the first teaser announcement of the Master Grade Ver. Ka back in June 2022 - and was categorized as a rumor.

[UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2022]
BANDAI HOBBY officially announced the release of the Freedom Gundam in the MGSD model kit series starting January 2023 for, 4,290 Yen.

    I am glad that it wasn't a rumor anymore. my favorite gunpla grades merged together is a dream come true!

    I'm curious about this...
    Perhaps we'll finally get an SD that's colour-accurate and not 90% stickers that peel.
    I've felt so much disappointment when getting the Soketsuden kits... Pointless clear parts and several missing details. I know they're budget kits but there resale prices tell you otherwise.
