Bandai Namco has recently announced that it will launch a network test for the new 6 VS 6 Gundam FPS (First Person Shooter) game starting April 7th 2022 for North America and Japan. The game's test application first launched via steam / PC and became available for pre-download prior to its official test launch.
Network tests for consoles will be announced at later dates.
Developers of the game aim to perfect the game's stability and its cross-network functionality between regions before its full launch in late 2022. During its test, glitches and bugs are expected to appear and are expected to be reported for fix!
Participants will receive exclusive in-game bonus items that can be used on the actual release of the game - this includes a special sticker art to showcase that you've participated in the test event, and a special RX-78-2 Gundam "Gundam Evolution" skin pack for the unit and its weapon.
Gundam Evolution will be available to play in three different strategic game modes which include Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. Each mode will have different game mechanics that challenge the player to victory!
The game was also announced to be available on different gaming platforms, which includes; PC/ Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox ONE, and Xbox Series X | S.
There are 14 different mobile suits from different Gundam universes to choose from, and each unit will play a special role in battle. Units are also rated with how complex they can be used in each battle, basing on a gamer's experience.
