Former AKB48 and Nogizaka46 Member Cast as Urdr Hunt's Wistario Afam

The former AKB48 and Nogizaka46 member idol singer and actress, Rina Ikoma has been selected to voice act  Wistario Afam - the main character of the Japanese mobile game, Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt.

Also, To celebrate the launching of the 9-episode digest of the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Special Edition broadcast at the official Gundam channel on April 5th, Ikoma-san's video message has also been published - to feature her comments about her new role along with the other anime's staff.

In addition, an Iron-Blooded Orphans Special Edition Broadcast Twitter Follow & RT Campaign is also being held to give away an artwork specially signed by Mikazuki Augus, Orga Itsuka, and Kudelia Aina Bernstein's voice actors. This special colored artwork will be given to three lucky winners via lottery draw. See official twitter post for details.

The first season of the original Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans ran with 25 episodes back in 2015 and then followed by another 25 episodes for its second season in 2016.

The series was followed by manga adaptations and an announcement of the mobile app Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G, an app that aims to deliver the game and anime adaptations to connect the original series to the side-story Urdr Hunt which happened between the two seasons of the original anime. 

The app was originally announced in 2019 with TBD release is now set to launch in SPRING of 2022 via App Store and Google Play.
