In celebration of the METAL BUILD 10th anniversary, and collaboration with Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series, TAMASHII Japan has announced that it will release a never before seen variant of Gundam Astraea specially designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa.

The Gundam Astraea Type-X is equipped with various weapons including long range combat weapons starting from its GN sharp shooter, a GN beam rifle, NGN bazooka, GN hand missile, and two GN pistols. It also features various close combat weapons and equipment which includes the two GN beam daggers, two proto GN swords for its left and right arms, two GN beam sabers, a GN hammer, and two pairs GN shields (2 types).

Most of the weapons packed in the figure are shared from the METAL BUILD Gundam Astraea Type-F.

The Gundam Astraea Type X FINSTERNIS also feature a unique head piece which enhances its long range combat control specially when equipped with its GN sharp shooter.
