  1. Almost looks MGish, but the safety flags on the V fin and the actual inner structure in the arms and legs seem to imply an HG. RX-78-2 RE:Revive?

    1. It'll likely be the Gunpla 40th Anniversary edition as Gundam 40th Anniversary kit was the G40 from Ken Okuyama that we got last year.

  5. The detalis look sharp and fine looks like RE:100, Im almost sure it'll be, but there's safety on the antenna, and the molding is thick so it must be HG. But why? The design looks cool though.

  6. Isn't that the GBN Base Gundam in Granddaddy colours?

    1. Definitely not. The shoulder and knee shapes are completely different, as is the detailed assembly of the forearm that you can see. This is a completely new tool from what this picture shows. Looks like it takes some cues from the G40's kit design, like the separate wrist piece that the hand plugs into.

  7. So G40 was dedicated to celebrate the 40th anniversary of gundam franchise, that's why the designers sticked on the old aesthetics of the original anime.

The new RX-78-2 kit will probably be the symbol of 40th anniversary of gunpla itself, hence the improved design and technology for HG.
