P-Bandai: MG 1/100 Yzak Joule's Slash Zaku Phantom [REISSUE]
Release Date: June 2021
Price: 4,950 Yen

INITIAL RELEASE
Release Date: April 2020
Price: 4,950 Yen

It only took a short time for Bandai Spirits to extend the parts of MG Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku Warrior to make the Yzak Joule's Slash Zaku Phantom! This kit comes with variety of newly molded parts, from its backpack to its weapon set.

Its body shares the same mold with the previously released Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku Warrior with added parts. Its MA-MR Falx G7 Beam Axe has given a mechanism gimmick for it to transform into 2 different modes. It also has a deactivated gimmick that can be mounted on its back skirt armor! Each beam effects of the Axe are molded in clear pink plastic with pointy features.

The entirely new molded backpack offers some great detailing, it is a defined version of its MMI-M826 "Hydra" Gatling Beam Cannon that has never seen before in GunPla form! The kit aslo comes with a special water slide decal specifically for Yzak's Slash Zaku Phantom!

[ACCESSORIES]
  • Hydra Gatling Beam Gun
  • Falx G7 Beam Axe
  • Beam Assault Gun
  • Shield x 2
  • Beam Tomahawk

  1. Ok so this is kinda the stereotypical response to a p-bandai reveal but...

WHY THE HELL IS THIS P-BANDAI?!

  2. You can tell the beams were recycled from the Sinanju but they put it to rather good use. I rarely admit but I feel this is worth it being a PBandai and all.

    1. I was just about to say, yeah. And they look SO vicious placed end-to-end with the huge scythe-like configuration

    2. Yeah, doesn't help that the larger effect doesn't fit flush with the emitter at all

    3. It actually isn't the Sinanju's beams. The small one looks exactly like the one from Gunner Zaku and the bigger one is a variation of it.

    4. They sure look like the RG Sazabi's which was taken from the RG Sinanju's effects... But I'll enjoy them for what they're for regardless. Just couldn't help but point out.

  3. I guess Yzak is the most popular after Lunamaria huh, wonder who's zaku is gon be next

    1. Something tells me it could be a Phantom Wizard Rey or Phantom Wizard Heine. Leaning more ob Rey but maybe it's Dearka's. :/

  4. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!

  5. I want this. and I'm guessing they are gonna release coloured varients soon. Green Zaku warrior, Blaze Zaku, Dearka custom, Heines, the lot. Oh and the pink concert version.

  6. Announcing a P-Bandai this far in advance? Does this mean they have tons more announcements to make soon??

  7. YES

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Finally, it will be mine.

  8. I am surprised we didn't get Rey's Blaze Zaku Phantom first, but oh well. I like the Slash better. Definite buy for me.

  9. Of course the coolest variant is always p Bandai...

  10. Oh god, i'm gonna regret dropping the inevitable £130 this thing is gonna cost on eBay in a few month's time.

  11. Honestly, this feels like an item that actually fits the original idea for p bandai. A pre existing kit with enough new parts and an waterslide decals that warrant p bandai, but not enough for a full retail release. Thank god its not like what happened with the Woundwort. Definitely picking this one up.

  12. The fact this thing has two beam tomahawks and nowhere to store them is quite annoying.

  13. I wish they release the Kerberus Zaku Warrior too in the near future. Milk it up more P-Bandai....

  14. This isn't the first appearance of the Slash Wizard in plastic form; a Collection Series kit had the Slash Wizard back in 2005, and it was compatible with the HG SEED ZAKU Warrior, Phantom, DOM Trooper molds.
