given what the moon gundam looks like im kinda upset that they thought a Zeon nu gundam was just a chunkier nu gundam like some fat guy with a bizarre distribution of fat around his body. they should have done what they did for the sinanju but in reverse (by that i mean the sinanju was obviously made first hens it not having a name modifier while the sinanju stein was created to fit the sinanju's backstory of being a non zeon ms)
Iirc, The Sinanju and the RX-0 were developed from the Stein, it's a bit improper to refer to the Stein as a non zeon ms. Since the RX-0 and MSN-06S are both variants of that suit that had just taken different developmental paths.
You're speaking of the story-wise in the manga and the anime. But i believe what u/GiroXP saying was in real life design process the people from bandai design the sinanju first and then they design the stein just for the origin.
Honestly, when the first images of the Nu-Zeon Gundam was released, I didn't like it due to the shade giving it a look of a bootleg toy you find in a random shop but the images here is starting to make me like it and I might get one.
This is such a missed opprtunity. The concept of creating a red nu-gundam was already great. They should just take a simpler approach like what they did with casval gundam or the amazing red warrior. When designing a "red" mobile suit they should think if Char would willing to pilot the mobile suit and in this case i don't think so.
Wait a minute, does this borrow parts from the HG Blue Frame Second L? The sword handle is basically the same and it has the same daggers (that feel really out of place on this kit) as well for some reason.
I actually dislike it thoroughly. It looks like someones home made Gunpla who just learned how to paint. It looks amature....and if it was a person, that'd be fine....but this is a kit.
Seems to be using joints from the old hg nu gundam, and sword frame from the hg astray blue frame second L. Avoid like the plague, both kits were okay at the time but aren't up to par anymore.
kinda infuriating that the funnels can't separate like the original nu gundam
ReplyDeleteUgly AF.
ReplyDeleteI think whoever pilots that, must be a snobby child who thinks he's good and will rage out.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if in the show the fins are connected in trios as well... the colours just don't feel right interested to how it looks in the show

ReplyDeleteThat Z is so gaudy, but it looks like Lord Zedd finally got his hands on a Gundam.
ReplyDeleteUgly overpriced piece of brick
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame this is what we're getting, since the lineart for nu-Zeon actually looks gorgeous.
