MG 1/100 FAZZ Ver. Ka - Release Info, Box art and Official Images

MG 1/100 FAZZ Ver. Ka
Release Date: February 2020
Price: 12,100 Yen

Mr. Katoki Hajime's take on the Mobile Suit Gundam Sentinel's FAZZ has been realized into his Master Grade kit series! Pursuing better proportions and detailing, this kit also features gimmicks that also defines its bulky aesthetics.

Missile pods are loaded in its different parts, and can be displayed in an open-hatch mode to enjoy the kit in an even more in-dept presentation!

Katoki Hajime also provided the kit with extended articulation. Given its bulky features, most of its bending parts will not interfere other armors for it to be able to perform a wider movement range.

"MG Ver. Ka" will not be complete without its amazing decal sheet! Personally designed and produced by Mr. Hajime himself!

[ACCESSORIES]
  • Double Beam Rifle
  • Hyper Mega Canon

Prototype of the kit exhibited at the All Japan Model and Hobby Show 2019.

  1. Very nice design. I hope Bandai will make a HGUC version of it as well.

    1. I mean, why would it not? ZZ's one of the chonkiest UC protagonist mobile suits as far as I'm aware.

    2. What do you expect? It's ZZ gundam with armor on it.

    3. That’s like complaining why does cheese burger have cheese in it. It’s called full armor zz for a reason.

  3. Be at that this is based on the ver Ka kit, I wonder if it's actually going to be more like the Theta Plus rather than the regular FAZZ. That would be pretty darn cool. Even if it isn't it's still going to be an awesome model. got mine pre-ordered definitely looking forward to it.

  4. i still believe it will be full armor zz instead of fazz, for bandai it will profitable release fazz first cause it comes with less color than full armor zz, and release full armor zz later in 2020

    1. Definetely FAZZ, it's already says EFSF Task Force Alpha and Pezun Incident.

    2. FAZZ is always the Sentinel ver. For Full Armor ZZ well the name is exactly like that, no shorten name to avoid confusion.

  5. Hmm.. that big old canon. Possible weight issues?

  6. Wait, did they just replace the double beam rifle for two fuel tanks? Or they just redesign the barrel and the angle of the photo make it looks off?

    1. The Fazz double beam rifle appears that way in a lot of artwork. It's the same modified beam-cannon barrels that are on the deep striker's left leg/booster.

  7. Will the ZZ under all the armour be transformable?

    1. In order to transform, the ZZ needs to purge the armor because it blocks the transformation joints, especially in the chest. So sadly no..

    2. To add to that, this is the FA-010A FAZZ, not the FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam. The former is basically a testbed for the latter, and lacks transformation mechanisms and the ability to purge armor, and has a few dummy parts for the high mega cannons that were installed solely for testing balance, and are otherwise non-functional. Apparently the simplified construction meant that the FAZZ is completed almost half a year before the ZZ Gundam itself was.

I guarantee you that they're releasing this now so that they can potentially Premium Bandai the actual Full Armor ZZ Gundam for MG Ver.Ka...

  9. How big is this compared to the Sazabi Ver.Ka?

  10. I'm loving that you can take all the armour off as well

  11. Looks like the P-Bsndai extention parts for the regular ZZ ver Ka was used for this.
