Bandai Spirits has finally announced the "Grade" for the new Gundam Barbatos model they teased in late June 2019. The prototype is on display at the Bluefin booth at the Anime Expo 2019 [Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California, United States]!

I am so glad it is a Master Grade, it opens the doors for the other Gundams for IBO thanks to the Gundams being a single unique frame with different attachments on it.
ReplyDeleteForms 1-6 will be a P-Bandai, though I really only like Forms 4-6
The inevitable Barbatos Lupus and Barbatos Lupus Rex are what will really get me excited.
If there's possibility of releasing Lupus in near time, I'll pass this, but Barbatos with all its weapons really hard to resist
DeleteDon't hope too much of other suit, even though they share same frame. It's MG we're talking about. Remember GAT-X frames, it took 9 years and redesign the frame to complete all the suits, also GN frames from 00, it tooks 10 years just to release Dynames.
So, other Barbatos kits maybe came in near future but don't hope for other Secondary Suits

ReplyDeleteNot a fan of Gundams in general (I'm a grunt collector), but I can see here that the mace head looks rather slim, and the v-fin looks angled a bit too far forward.
Of course, being an early prototype we can't expect too much.
Here's to hoping we get an MG Graze to complement it, in addition to the onslaught of P-Bandai variants of that, haha...
Gusion! Please give me Gusion and Flauros please! though I wouldn't be surprised to see Hajiroboshi in MG form to help promote the game :/
