Saitama Seibu Lions announces that they will be holding an online order for their exclusive HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam on March 19, 2019! The kit will be sold exclusively online for 3,000 Yen each while supplies last (only one kit per account). The kit will be released in April 2019.

Also, an HGUC 1/144 Zaku II Lions ver. was also announced to be included in the purchased ticket for the event! The Zaku will have a white colored body with exclusive decal seals to commemorate the partnership between Gundam's 40th anniversary and Seibu Lions Japanese baseball team.

They did the Lions a disservice using the 17 year old HGUC Zaku II kit instead of the Origin HG. Thought it was probably so it would cost less (1000yen vs 1700yen for the Zaku II Origin kit)
