  1. Does it come with the effects too? If so, that would be great!

  2. non-P-Bandai effect parts?
Bandai learned from the RG Destiny?
What's next? The effects work on the RG?

    This timeline is weird.

  4. We've got the Strike, Freedom, Impulse, Strike Freedom and now the Destiny.
I think that's all SEED protagonist MS done. (Plus the Strike Rouge as she's an easy repaint)
Now will we get Athrun's Mobile Suits? Or any other SEED kits?
It'd be nice if we got kits of MS that never got them in the HGSEED line.

    1. You are absolutely correct. Bandai did make an HG Revive version of the Strike Rouge.

    2. I knew about the Rouge, i was just specifically mentioning the protags.
The Rouge only got made coz it was an easy repaint. :/

  6. this has MG style proportions right? i have both MG and RG and the latter has excellent surface details but has weird legs proportions. And dont forget the feet!!

    1. It does seem to have MG proportions. That feet looks flat and good

    2. at least the proportion looks slightly better compared to RG

  7. The RG was 2.500 yen
    This one is 2.376 yen

    Why not choose the RG?

    1. I have the RG and it kinda sucks. The shoulders are ball joints and that means it can't even hold up its weapons anymore. It has a terrible case of RG loosening like no other. Hopefully this new HG will hold up better.

    2. Because there is already a high quality kit that is still up to RG standards. it has been well over a Decade since the destiny got a high grade so the word dated doesn't describe the old HGs badness well enough. The price point is due to the advances in basic HG tech. The new freedom HGs were close cost wise to their RG contemporary too. Its just the way things flow. There is also the underlying nature of bandai's new gunpla policies promoting the customization of gunpla, especially 1/144 and the older seed kits are simply a pain in the ass to blend with modern parts. The Destiny has one of the most iconic designs in seed (and thats saying something!) The ability to take the Destiny and customize it to a persons liking with the new joints and 3mm hole standard as well as its new pose-ability will sell the kit hands down.

    3. 1. The RG doesn't come with the effect parts for the wings or the hands.
      2. HG kits have less parts and aren't as likely to explode in your hands as you pose them.

HG kits are MEANT to be handled. I feel like I LOOK at a RG and a piece or two vanishes.

    4. Exactly. But the RG doesn't come with the energy wing parts. You need to acquire those separately whereas the HG Revive included it in the packet.

    5. This comes with the Wings of Light and the Palm effect parts. Which there is a slim chance that you can use the effects on the RG. That and RGs are not that great of play-things.

      Delete
    6. This includes the Wings of Light and the Palma Fiocina into the price already as well as it is closer to the MG proportions, whereas the RG effect parts comes seperately at an additional $15 USD.

    7. 4 things:
      1. Wings of Light
      2. Better Proportions
      3. Doesn't fall apart in your hands
      4. You don't feel the guilt of messing up building an RG when you Build HG

  8. I feel that calling this Shin Asuka's Mobile suit will hurt it's sales. Why not just release it as a HGBF kit with Shimon Izuna as it's pilot?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Huh? It's labeled as HGCE, ofcourse this is called Shin's MS. Then again, Shimon's Destiny just an amateur build without proper assembly and custom which make it not worth as HGBF.

    2. I'd say Shimon is definitely better pilot than Shimn, but since the original pilot was Shinn, so .. yeah. It makes sense.

  9. they should also release revive duel or buster

  10. It sucks it doesn't appear to have the beam saber effects for the beam boomerangs, just the boomerang beam effect.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Tell the truth, the proportion is much better on this one than the RG version.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Does anyone have any information if Bandai will be recycling the backpack they used for the RG Destiny?

    ReplyDelete
  13. When the HG just falls shy of the RG but with no falling parts.
