What does this mean? Regular release outside japan like the MG xn raiser & turn red?
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteAs much as I love Bandai, I have to say the Hobby Star and Daban Avalanche Exia Dash kits look a lot better. And making this P-Bandai is just sad.
ReplyDeleteBut bandai didn't include the anti ship sword which is included on bootleg models.
DeleteIf I'm not mistaken, the anti ship sword wasn't an official design since it only appears in linearts from artbooks. Also I think it was a magazine exclusive part for the HG
Deletethe reason why dragon momoko got killed
ReplyDeletebut they at least made some of their own stuff
Deleteyou do know that it's based from bandai's metal build right?
DeleteI passed on all the 3rd party versions, but with an official one getting a US release I think I might made the right choice.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, of all the P-Bandai 1/100s that have come out, I gotta say, this one is the least enticing for me. I wish the US store would start carrying more of the other MGs.
ReplyDeleteThe DM kit is based on the Metal Build so already a one up on this kit and the Daban kit is super detailed. This is the first time that I want to go with a third party kit instead of a legit Bandai kit.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the fact that the MG Exia's legs were its biggest flaw.

ReplyDeleteDM Avalanche is horribly made, and it is a BIG disappointment. DM Avalanche has bunch of flaws, including big huge seam line gaps that takes too much work to fix, plus lots of parts don't even align properly. Perhaps some people don't care much about the huge big seam line gap...but I definitely do. It takes too much effort to fix that I just put it aside in the corner, just not worth the money(lots of material to fix it),time and effort. Now that Bandai is making a legit Avalanche, may as well trash the DM one and get this one. This should've come sooner to avoid all the hassle I been through. I guess it is better late than never.
ReplyDeletewith this the xn raiser and the oo quata full saber my collection will be beautiful
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean the USA version is not P-Bandai? How is that posible if the Japan is P-Bandai?
ReplyDeleteBluefin distributes these P-bandai as limited time releases. They did the same with the MG XN Raiser and the Astray Turn Red. Bluefin is the US distributor for Gunpla
DeleteBandai agrees to sell some cases to Bluefin (and other global distributors) with some conditions attached (e.g. they're not allowed to appear on Amazon).
Delete鋤鍋物焼 a.k.a Water Jutsu 6 2 9 You still using aliases? It's not working, bro!
DeleteOh. So then does that mean people in the US of A can buy them at retail price from online stores and not have to spend multiplied 10 retail price? Why can't they sell through Amazon? Is that against the law or something?
DeleteNot against the law, just against whatever trade agreement they'll have signed. You can hear Xavier Lim talk about it in Gunpla Talk #35. It's mostly to keep the price from falling below Japanese MSRP.
DeleteThe chinese dude is trolling you guys. He's making you look like fools.
DeleteIs it just me or is there no chrome plating on the blades? Not that I really care about it.
ReplyDeleteI think there is no chrome on this kit. I think they are using the normal MG Exia. The Igniter version has chrome plating?
DeleteYou should buy 4 exia igniton modes so you can get all chrome blades Charlie.
Delete鋤鍋物焼 Just as usual, Water Technique 629, you're intentionally misspell names, pretending to be a noob so that you cover who you really are. But it's not working, even Clark Kent's glasses is more effective.
